When was your wedding?
We were married on May 10, 2025.
What was the name of your venue and why did you choose it?
We got married at the Governor’s House in St. Augustine. My husband and I met in downtown St. Augustine and have lived here for almost a decade, so showing off the town to our friends and family was very important to us! It was such an incredible venue!
How long did it take to plan your big day? Any vendors you’d like to recognize?
We planned our big day for a little over a year. We both work in hospitality in St. Augustine and were lucky to know of many vendors before starting the official planning! We loved every single one of our vendors! If you are getting married in the area, we highly recommend St. Johns Illuminations, Justine Lane from Event Lane Planning and COS for music! Our favorite part of our big day was the incredible food supplied by The Perch! We were able to craft our dream menu featuring all of our favorites from sushi to end-of-the-night french fries!

Who is the designer of your gown and where was it purchased?
My dress was from The Bridal Outlet in Jacksonville!
When did you know that your gown was “the one?”
My wedding dress was one of the first dresses I tried on! I fell in love with it right away, but wanted to keep looking in case I found something else. After a few months, I went back to the bridal store, tried on the dress again and knew it was the right one! I loved how comfortable I felt in it, and that it had pockets!
Why did you want to get your gown cleaned and preserved? Why did you choose Oceanside?

How did you and your husband meet?
My husband and I met in 2016 in class at Flagler College! We were friends for a few years before we started dating.
What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?
My favorite part of the wedding was when my husband and I got photos taken together while the rest of the attendees were at cocktail hour. It was such a special moment to have some quiet time after the ceremony and before the reception began!
What made your wedding ceremony feel extra special?
Being surrounded by the best friends and family members we could ask for made the evening perfect!
