We were married on May 24, 2025.

Our venue was the Piedmont Driving Club Golf Course. We chose this venue for its peaceful setting just outside the city. In just 35 minutes, you’re surrounded by greenery, hills, and sprawling lakes — a refreshing change of pace from the urban rush.

We spent a year planning our wedding.

My gown was designed by Anne Barge and I purchased it at Anne Barge Atelier in Atlanta.
As soon as I put it on— it felt right. I know everyone says that, but there really is this moment where it just clicks, and you can picture yourself walking down the aisle.

I decided to have my wedding dress preserved because I love the idea that one day, my daughter — or maybe my daughter-in-law — might want to wear it, or even just take a piece of it and make it her own. It’s a way of holding on to a really special moment and maybe passing a little of it on. I chose Oceanside not only because of their years of experience and glowing reviews from other brides, but also because they’re family. Knowing that I’m supporting a business close to home made it even more meaningful to me.

We met on a blind date set up by a mutual friend.

My favorite memory from the day was sitting down for dinner with our closest friends and family. We shared stories, laughed, cried, and smiled more than I ever expected. It was such a warm, full-hearted moment.

We chose a small, intimate space for our ceremony and kept the guest list limited to our family and wedding party. It created a cozy atmosphere that made the moment feel truly personal.
