When was your wedding date?
Our wedding date was July 2nd, 2016.
What was your wedding location and venue name?
We were married at Arlington United Methodist Church and our reception was at Epping Forest Yacht Club.
Who is the designer of your gown and where was it purchased?
My gown is a James Clifford gown that was purchased at One Bridal.
What is your favorite memory from your wedding day?
My husband’s smile. Dreaming of your wedding day, you think about all the tangible items and yet those things are only remembered in the photos. Walking down the aisle to his smile is a special memory just the two of us hold.
When did you know that your gown was “the one?”
Having that dropping gut feeling, imagining yourself walking down the aisle in this gown, and then the tears!
How did you and your husband meet?
A typical Florida answer: the beach! He actually went to high school with my cousin, who I happened to be at the beach with that day.
Why did you want to get your gown cleaned and preserved?
I hope to one day share with my daughter the dress I wore on the most special day of my life I shared with her dad, the dress in her newborn photos and the dress she may want to wear on her special day.
What made your wedding ceremony feel extra special?
We decided to get married at the same church my parents were married in over 30 years ago.
