Re-Purpose Those Hangers!

Did you jump on the Netflix series “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo” bandwagon and pare down your closet to only the items that “bring you joy?”

If so, you may have bags full of unneeded hangers. Instead of putting them into the trash, consider an alternate use or recycle them.

If you are the least bit handy, this humble device—which dates back to the early 1900s—can be fashioned into an iPad holder, a drain snake, or a wrapping paper organizer. The ideas are limitless…or limited to the number of YouTube videos you can watch!

If you are not a DIYer, then you can always bring your extra hangers into Oceanside (or send them along with your dry cleaning order). We will reuse the perfect hangers and recycle the rest. And on your next order, if you’d prefer to reduce your number of hangers, we can fold your garments instead of using a hanger. We will be happy to do as you like. That brings us joy!
