We have made a change behind the scenes at Oceanside Cleaners to help the community and the environment.
We switched to SYSTEMK4 by Kreussler which is a new, non-toxic dry cleaning system.  Kreussler has been working in environmentally sustainable methods of textile cleaning for decades and has now patented the non-halogen, organic solvent that cleans better than the industry standard, is non toxic, biodegradable substance which poses no risk for ground, water, air or people.

Some of the additional benefits of this solvent is that it allows us to reduce our energy requirements since it requires less steam to operate the cleaning machines, it cleans 3 to 4 times more clothes before needing to be replenished then other solvents which mean we consume less solvent and we produce less waste which is no longer hazardous compared to the waste coming from halogen based solvents.
